Throughout the UK the Group employs close to 300 including pharmacists, skilled technicians, HR, IT, procurement, warehouse, and customer services staff.

Due to our continued growth, we are recruiting for a Customer Services Assistant – Aseptic Services to be based in Burnopfield, County Durham

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with customer enquiries
  • Liaising with Courier Services and Suppliers regarding deliveries
  • Maintaining documentation filing systems within the department
  • Supporting the Aseptic Quality team with customer technical enquiries
  • Undertaking training that Company deems to me mandatory/necessary
  • Hitting and maintaining daily targets
  • Complying with out of spec and deviation procedures
  • Prioritising day to day activity, manage own time and available resources to enable successful completion of departmental objectives
  • Working as a Team fostering a supportive and comprehensive culture in which strong relationships are built


The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • Experience of operating in a similar role is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
  • Confident dealing with customers over the telephone and via email
  • Confident dealing with managers and employees at all levels
  • Experience working in pharmaceutical/healthcare/life sciences industry advantageous
  • English and Mathematics GCSE grades A-C (or equivalent)
  • Computer literate; experience operating with all Microsoft Office software


Hours of work:

  • 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday
