The Target Healthcare Group is a niche pharmaceutical developer, manufacturer and supplier to the retail pharmacy, hospital, pharmaceutical wholesaler, and homecare markets.

Within the Group, Quantum Pharmaceutical is the UK’s leading manufacturer and supplier of unlicensed medicines and hard-to-source products. We offer an unrivalled product range, backed by expert knowledge and exceptional customer service. Throughout the UK the Group employs close to 300 including pharmacists, skilled technicians, HR, IT, procurement, warehouse, and customer services staff.

Due to our continued growth, we are recruiting for Full Stack Developer to design, develop and deliver browser based first applications to support the Group in the effective and efficient delivery of high quality services to our customers, partners and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing innovative digital solutions that bring down costs while improving the business
  • Removing the need for paper across the organisation
  • Consulting with staff to identify challenges and build cloud-based solutions
  • Creating documentation supporting the use of digital solutions
  • Providing staff support and training that supports the use of digital solutions
  • Promoting and modelling new ways of working which support systems of change aimed at continuous improvement
  • Reporting regularly on progress to the Managing Director
  • Working with external partners, identifying opportunities where digital solutions offer areas of improvement
  • Focusing on self-development ensuring you know the direction of travel of mainstream web technologies.


The ideal candidate will be:

  • Extensive experience building digital solutions
  • An in-depth working knowledge of a front-end framework such as React, Vue or Angular
  • Experience of identifying problems and building digital solutions
  • Experience of building applications for mobile
  • Experience securing web-based applications
  • Experience building applications using technologies such as – Node, MongoDB, SQL, React, Vue, Gatsby, Svelte, Serverless, Web APIs, Azure, JSON, Graph QL, CSS, DOM, Git, Docker, Mocho, Jest
  • In-depth knowledge of Ecmascript/Javascript, the DOM, CSS, HTTP, Web API’s, SQL and No-SQL DB’s
  • Good personal organisation skills
  • Strong focus on User Experience and Accessibility
  • Working knowledge of GDPR
  • Experience using Azure Cloud based services.
  • Experience building serverless applications
  • Able to communicate complex topics in ways that others can understand
  • Able to solve problems using your own initiative
  • Able to write code with lots of clear comments and notes so that others can understand what it’s doing.
  • Able to write automated tests that speed up development flow by identifying issues, breaking changes and side effects.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong and comfortable in using a range of written and oral communication skills, in particular the ability to communicate at all levels with a variety of stakeholders.
  • The ability to translate legislative jargon into being clearly understood by managers and employees would be advantageous.
  • Very organised and structured with effective planning and prioritisation skills with first-rate attention to detail.
  • Highly analytical with robust problem-solving skills as well as being action/solution orientated.
  • Proactive, curious and uses own initiative to drive change with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • A resilient and driven individual with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure within tight time constraints and manage a broad ranging workload
