The MHRA have recently issued a statement outlining the expectations regarding unlicensed orders from Specials manufacturers. The article confirms that to meet regulations all Specials orders must be submitted in writing to protect patient safety. Here at Quantum Pharmaceutical we want to ensure that all of our customers stay up to date with MHRA guidelines and that you continue to remain compliant with minimal impact to your day to day operation.
The MHRA guidelines state, "manufacturers licensed to make specials must get confirmation of orders in writing, for example by email, fax or via an online ordering system provided by the manufacturer*."
As quality underpins everything we do at Quantum Pharmaceutical we have added additional ordering documentation to our website, which clearly defines the four different ordering channels available (phone, fax, email and online) and the steps to take for each to ensure full compliance.

In addition to the new ordering documentation Quantum Pharmaceutical have added an even simpler way to place your specials order. The new Quantum Pharmaceutical online ordering form allows customers to order direct from our website. Once the order has been placed you will receive an automatic written order confirmation for your records via fax or email. Please note you must already have an account with Quantum Pharmaceutical to place an order online. Accounts can be opened by emailing our customer service team, email@example.com.
